Establishing Bilateral Agreements with Some Universities in Jordan

Samsun University Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ergin Kariptaş paid some visits to Jordan’s Amman, Irbid and Mefrak cities between 23-27 October 2021 as part of internationalization efforts.

Within the scope of the visit, bilateral agreements were signed with Petra University, Private University of Applied Sciences, Al-Isra University, Al-Bayt University, Yarmouk University and Jordan Science and Technology universities, and potential Erasmus+ and Mevlana partnerships were discussed.

Regarding the visits and agreements signed, Vice-Rector Kariptaş said, “As part of Samsun University’s internationalization policy, we do care about strengthening our bilateral relations with the countries tin which we have strong and historic  relations like Jordan. We believe that these visits and agreements we have signed, not only the partnerships of our University in Jordan, but also the relations between the two countries will be strengthened.”
